Throughout the world, the words Masai Mara mean wildlife adventure on the broad plains of this
golden park. Here you’ll find a density of lion, wildebeest, and zebra in an unparalleled
display. Any trip to the Mara is a treat and this short discovery tour will take you into the
heart of a busy eco-system filled with large and small game – giraffe, elephant, rhino, hippos,
and crocodiles.
We’re going to pack a lot into your safari, so we’ll leave early for a
quick start on our game drives through the sprawling Mara lands. You’ll travel in safari-style
in your own private 4 x 4 Jeep, taking in the African sunrise over Rift Valley towers and
immense horizons.
The adventure will be a series of game drives over the rolling hills of the Masai Mara searching
for the big cats and the herds – in the thousands – of roaming wildlife. We’ll travel down to
the Mara River, site of the annual crossing where wildebeests and crocodiles often meet in a
dramatic display of survival.
The Mara is also home to the infamous Maasai people where you
can experience a village encounter, learn their lifestyle, visit their homes and even sample
their crafts!
